idleriot.com was first launched at the end of 2004 by us, two close high school friends. At the time, working as uni-studios, we already had a large variety of clients in the entertainment site business and we were becoming known as "the people to turn to when something needs to be done". Seeing our success, we decided to try our hand at maintaining an entertainment site, thinking that we could be the best. Since then we haven't stopped working to achieve just that.
idleriot.com is now the fastest growing media/entertainment site out there with a continuously growing community. Here you can find one of the largest collection of pictures, movies and flash to keep you from working for hours. In case you needed any help in understanding how to procrastinate, we have taken the time to write this F.A.Q.

If you're the type of person that needs everything spelled out for you, we can do that. Here are some of the things you can do at idleriot.com:
- Media: Like we stated earlier, we have one of the largest collections of pictures, movies and flash on the internet. Go check it out. Comment. Rate. Masterbate if you have to.
- Columns: When we released version 3 we also released columns. We give columns to the writers that we have selected that are funny enough to write for idleriot.com. We have updates here periodically so make sure you keep up, and don't miss out. If you'd like to apply to become a writer, send us an e-mail with a sample article saying so.
- The Community: Become part of the community idleriot is built on! We give our members a ton of features and options to use on the site. Check the registration tab or click here to find out how and what our members can do.
- Contests: That's right. You can win stuff on idleriot.com. Become a member and earn points for being active on the site. Find out more about our contests and how you can earn points here.
- Specials: Version 3 first introduced the idea of specials to the site. Specials are a miscellaneous mix of articles and/or promotions on the site. Since they're so abstract it's tough to give a concrete description so just go check them out.

The first day idleriot.com was live it was in version 1. We talk about how long ago this feels all the time, and honestly, we both can't remember what the hell it looked like. We can only talk about how ugly it must have been.
At the time it seemed very unfortunate, but within a week or two our servers suffered a major irreparable crash. By the time we were able to jump ship and find newer better servers, we had already developed a fully functional version 2. When we came back online we came back with v2 and simultaneously gave everyone a reason to have to change their underwear.
Now we're at version 3 and we've added more features and funcionality than ever before. |
